An aggressive and angular tread pattern with rugged siping increases traction in inclement weather while actively repelling snow and slush. The X-ICE Xi3 features a silica-based rubber compound that adapts to the temperatures to improve winter traction regardless of the weather.

I had always used Michelin Defenders on my mini van. This time when I was looking for replacement I could not find them as I was told that Michelin does not make them in the size I needed.
Very relectantly I bought these Sumitomo tires and I'm very happy with the performance.
