EXCELLENT MICHELIN WINTER TIRES

Excellent assured cornering and stopping in the wet.

On the recommendation of my local KalTire rep and because my preferred brand (Michelin) were not available at the time, I replaced my worn-out Michelin snow's with another highly-rated brand. However, with the replacements, there was a noticeable lag between when I made a steering input and when the tires reacted, and in addition they had poor grip when cornering, both likely as a result of the rubber compound being optimized for colder conditions than we typically experience on the West Coast. I went back to KalTire and was able to replace then with the latest Michelin's (which by then were available), and which seem to have a rubber compound better suited to West Coast temperatures.

Best tires I have ever had for winter driving. Hold like crazy. Handle hydroplaning easily. Never seem to let go of the road.
