Good grip, smooth and quiet

Like these tires a lot, at least so far. Quiet, smooth, good grip in the wet and gravel, very stable towing our travel trailer. No snow or ice yet so made it a 4 star pending more experience in slippery conditions next fall. The tread pattern looks good so expect they will do well in snow. Ice is an unknown for now!

Great performance disappointing leak

Feels like you’re glued to the road. Louder then the old bald all seasons but expected.

Haven’t even put 500s on them and the drivers side front tire pressure sensor went off. Have to see kal about it.

Nokian Outpost APT tires on a 2018 Rav 4

We installed these tires on our 2018 Rav 4 as replacements for the factory installed tires from Toyota which wore out prematurely and had excessive road noise.
I was concerned at first as to whether the Nokians would be noisy on dry payment because of the all terrain design but wanted to have a tire for year round use. We have had Nokian winter tires on other vehicles that worked great so I was hoping for a similar experience with the Outpost APTs but without the need to swap out tires for the winter.
I am very happy with the performance of the tires. The road noise is less than the original factory installed tires and the traction on ice and snow is only slightly less effective than studded winter tires. I live in Saskatoon and we just recently had 2 significant snowfalls so I was waiting on posting my review to see how the tires performed after the snow arrived. I am very happy with our choice.
As for the purchasing experience, this was simple and easy!! I selected the tires on the website, booked my appointment and showed up for it. The staff at the store were excellent and my experience through the entire process was excellent!!
As for the quality of workmanship I was very happy to see no damage to the factory mags during this installation. I have had tires installed at other tire shops and dealerships that resulted in scratching and damage to the rims. There was none of this at KALTIRE!!
Any future tire purchases with be with KALTIRE.
