This Studless Ice & Snow winter tire is specifically made for SUVs, Light Trucks and Crossovers for maximum traction when things get cold and slippery. The tire's microdiagonal grooves are made of a high-density reinforced tread compound in a directional tread design. This design employees both a Variable Angle centre Rib for high-speed stability and Central Zigzag Circumferential Grooves that pack and eject snow. Our independent tests showed very good braking in ice, snow and wet pavement, as well as very good scores when cornering in ice and snow. Thanks to deep circumferential grooves, the iG51v delivered excellent slush handling and very good hydroplane resistance.
