Grassroots community service
Year-round, our teams strive to make a positive impact in our neighbourhoods. To inspire and enhance the fundraising efforts of local stores, Kal Tire matches funds they’ve raised through our Community Matching Gifts Program.
From being a long-standing supporter of the Coldest Night of the Year to awarding scholarships to the children of team members—we’re proud of all the ways we give back.

The Coldest Night of the Year
Kal Tire is proud to support The Coldest Night of the Year charity walk and clothing drive in support of people experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness.
Since 2018, Kal Tire team members have taken part in this national fundraiser. All of the funds raised stay in their local communities to support local needs.
Roll into your local Kal Tire in during the next Coldest Night of the Year campaign to drop off clothing donations at participating locations.
Community Matching Gifts Program
The Community Matching Gifts Program matches funds raised by our local team members for registered charities, non-profit organizations and youth/ minor sports leagues.

Cathy Harry, manager at the Hope Kal Tire location, is a proud supporter of the Tour De Cure. Over the years, Cahty and her team have raised more than $60,000 for the BC Cancer Foundation.
Scholarships
At Kal Tire, we’ve always believed it’s important for young people to prepare themselves for a successful future.One of the most important components of this preparation is to complete a level of education that provides them with a good start on achieving their career and life goals.
To give students a strong start, we award eight scholarships of $1,500 to dependents of Kal Tire team members who are pursuing post-secondary education. Scholarship funds can be applied to tuition, books and other student fees while studying.
