Staff were great, very helpful and gave me what I feel was a good deal on my tires with install, balance, and alignment.

Only oddball was the settings on my heater were set to AC coldest temp, it's FEBRUARY...lol

Consistent across locations
5
4 months ago by KEVIN BRAUN.

I recently had tires installed on another vehicle at a different Kaltire location. It was nice that the experience was consistent across both locations, and that is to say that it was exceptional. I liked that I could literally watch my vehicle being worked on. I also liked that I could book my appointment online without any hassle.

The only constructive feedback I can give was regarding work that they said I need to have done "soon" and gave me a quote. It's not Kaltire's fault that it bothered me, it's because I don't know who to trust when it comes to what my truck actually needs. I've had dealerships quote me thousands and thousands of dollars that they claim needs done, and I take it to another mechanic and they say no it doesn't need those things. So I don't know who to trust at all. Again not their fault, but maybe there's some things that could be done to help customers feel more comfortable in those situations. Perhaps explain what they did (i.e. what tests they did) to determine that work needs to be done, and what a really bad cases looks like when it's to the point of "not safe to drive" vs. "needs to be done sometime soon". And since I can see from the window, they could even show me what it looks like on my vehicle. I don't know, that's just an idea, I'm sure there's other ideas you can think of to help customers believe they can "trust" you. Again, there's nothing Kaltire is doing to make me not trust them (in fact I felt the most trust in Kaltire than I have before), but I will have an uneasy feeling whenever someone tells me that specific works needs done.
