For shelter dogs at LAPS, play is more than a break from routine—it’s vital for their health, confidence, and adoptability. That’s why these high-quality dog training logs can withstand heavy use and provide a safe, enriching environment for exercise, training, and socialization.

Kal’s RePlay Fund granted $10,000 to fund the rubber used to create the molded log platforms and structures which recycled 870 kg of rubber and diverted around 140 scrap tires from entering the landfill.

Uneven surfaces and limited accessible parking created barriers for individuals using wheelchairs and mobility aids. This project built accessible parking, a splash park, and smooth wheelchair-friendly surfaces.

Kal’s RePlay Fund granted $18,000 to fully fund the new pathway, which recycled 2,608 kg of rubber and diverted roughly 410 scrap tires from entering the landfill.

Yellowhead Arena, Neepawa, MB

The Yellowhead Arena upgraded the aging facility floor with durable rubber matting from Reliable Tire Recycling. The new flooring will offer shock absorption, reduce wear and tear on sports equipment, and most importantly, enhance safety and accessibility for all users, including those with mobility challenges.

Kal’s RePlay Fund granted $8,000 to fully fund the new rubber skate safe flooring, which recycled 3,400 kg of rubber and diverted roughly 530 scrap tires from entering the landfill.

Kal’s RePlay Fund granted $10,000 to partially fund the 9,980 kg of resilient rubber surfacing which diverted approximately 1,000 passenger tires from entering the landfill.
