Robert Foord
President
Robert Foord was born and raised in Vernon, BC and attended Okanagan College prior to graduating from Simon Fraser University in 1984 with a degree in Business Administration. Robert joined Kal Tire in 1987 and spent the next 28 years working his way up through the business; starting in the warehouse before moving on to several operational and sales positions. In 1998, Robert became a partner at Kal Tire and joined the company’s Senior Management Team, eventually taking on the role of Senior Vice President for Kal Tire’s Mining Tire Group. In late 2009, he became President of Kal Tire, a position he still holds. Today, Robert is responsible for guiding the company forward with the same fundamental principles and company culture that have proven successful since its inception in 1953.
Ken Chaun
Senior VP, Stores
Ken joined Kal Tire in 2003 and worked in the stores and retread operations prior to taking the position of CFO. He is now leading Kal Tire’s retail and commercial strategies, retail and commercial marketing, and store operations. Ken graduated with degrees from McGill University and Simon Fraser University, and he is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Dan Allan
Senior VP, Mining Tire Group
Dan is responsible for the global mining operations of Kal Tire’s Mining Tire Group. Dan joined Kal Tire following a long career with a major equipment and service supplier in the mining industry. Dan was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario and holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Laurentian University. He has lived on three continents before relocating to the Vernon, BC area.
Doug Lemiski
Senior VP, Business Services
Doug joined Kal Tire in 2013, after 28 years as a lawyer assisting businesses of all sizes and scope; 15 of those years were spent as Managing Partner at Nixon Wenger in Vernon, BC. He earned his B.Sc. and law degree from University of British Columbia. Doug is responsible for Health and Safety, Information Systems, and Real Estate and Construction.
Mike Kreuger
Chief Financial Officer
Mike joined Kal Tire as CFO in 2015 and works to integrate the changing needs of the business with the financial, accounting, treasury, risk management and taxation functions. Prior to joining Kal Tire, Mike worked with SilverBirch Hotels, The Forzani Group and Nike Canada. Mike received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
Cam Johnston
Senior VP, Wholesale and Supply
Cam joined Kal Tire in 2012 after a 20-year career in the food and beverage industry. Cam leads Kal Tire’s wholesale business, supply chain, retreading, and product management. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
Maryanne Chantler
Senior VP, Organizational Performance
Maryanne joined Kal Tire in 2022 with responsibility for Human Resources, Communications, and Legal. Prior to joining Kal Tire, Maryanne held various senior executive roles in mid-size and large, privately owned and public consumer packaged goods companies. Most recently, she was with a global management consulting firm. Maryanne graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, and from McMaster University with a Master of Business Administration degree.
