In Canada, four Kal Tire warehouses with over 100 acres of warehouse space and storage facilities support our network of locations from coast to coast. Kal Transportation moves goods from warehouses to stores when they need it.

The Mining Tire Group (MTG) employs more than 2600 team members providing support to both surface and underground mines across conditions and commodities. The core offering includes proactive, planned tire maintenance, inspections, pressure checks, inventory management and more, that deliver on equipment availability, tire life and safety. As a multi-brand dealer, MTG is able to offer the right tire for the application.

As a partner focused on helping customers achieve goals for productivity, tire performance, safety and ESG, MTG provides innovative solutions at every stage of tire life. Sustainability solutions include a thermal conversion OTR tire recycling facility in Chile, six world-class OTR tire retreading facilities, and a Maple Program for carbon emissions reporting. An Innovation Centre in Canada designs and develops mining tire maintenance tools that boost safety and efficiency, while TOMS, a proprietary tire maintenance planning tool, elevates fleet use.

MTG operates in five regions: Canada, the UK and West Africa, Southern Africa, Australia and Latin America. They also own and operate six OTR (off-the-road) retreading facilities located in Canada, the United Kingdom, West Africa, Chile and Mexico.
