MINIMUM QUANTITY REQUIRED

You've selected less than 4 tires for a tire type that requires all tires to be within a similar tread depth range. Once your tires are inspected in-store, you may be required to replace more than the quantity you've selected.

It's important for your safety when driving in winter conditions.

Availability: In Stock

Expecting excellent all-weather tire performance for bigger vehicles is a bit of a crapshoot, but the Nordman WR delivers. It uses what's known as a Slush Edge in its asymmetrical tread pattern that evacuates snow and slush particularly well, as indicated by our independent test results. Its performance ion wet or dry pavement gets good marks thanks to the self-locking 3D sipes in the center of the tread that give longitudinal and lateral stability. The WR's hydroplaning resistance, even at higher speeds, is one of the best we've tested for an all-weather tire that's only available at Kal Tire. Not available in Quebec.

Kal's Test Results

"Good performance on dry and wet pavement for an all-weather tire. Initial steering response not particularly crisp, but gets the job done."

?Summer vs Winter Tests

BRAKING

We varied our approach speeds by driving surface and by season for two reasons. First, this represents how most Canadians would normally drive on that surface in each season. Second, testing in both seasons provides an indication of how a tire's performance will be affected by road temperature.

CORNERING

To understand how road surface temperatures affect the cornering performance of a tire, our cornering tests are completed in both summer conditions (dry and wet pavement, and gravel roads) and winter conditions (dry, wet and icy pavement). Please note that slush is also tested but completed in a specific slush cornering test..

?Independent & Objective Testing

The independent tire testers conducted extensive tests to determine how the tires in our core line-up perform in a range of conditions in both summer and winter. To maintain neutrality, no driver knew the specifics of the tires they were testing each time. All results were analyzed and processed by the testing group and then provided to Kal Tire for sharing with our customers.

Good Value

We bought these All-Weather tires to replace our WRG3 SUV tires that we had for almost 5 years. These are a cheaper alternative and handle nicely, quiet too. We don't drive too much in this vehicle so having 65k warranty was all we needed.
