Great tires!

The Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires are amazing, especially for the price. The stock no-seasons my GTI came with would screech under moderate acceleration and loved to understeer. I could chirp those tires shifting into fourth. Putting the Continentals on has transformed it into a new car, though. I can launch without the tires complaining, and take it around quick turns without feeling like I'm driving on my sidewalls.

Recently I drove through my first torrential rainstorm with these tires on. It was always embarrassing to spin my old tires at four-way stops in the rain, making it look like I just learned how to drive. This never happened once with the Continentals, which was surprising given the sparsity of rain sipes on these things.

The Continentals are also noticeably quieter than my stock tires. Maybe my stock tires were just complete trash, but the difference is huge. All in all, I will definitely buy these tires again.
