Amongst the off-road crowd, the All-Terrain series is legendary thanks to MMA fighter-like toughness and traction like a musk ox. There’s a reason why Ford’s monster F-150 SVT Raptor gets a set of these standard with every truck since pretty much nothing else out there will conquer the rough stuff like the KO2 thanks to increased sidewall strength that’s pulled from BF Goodrich’s off-road racing tire, long treadwear life and peerless off-road traction. The blocky serrated shoulder and shoulder lugs provide soft soil, rock and deep snow traction, while the 3D locking sipes in the treads of the main contact patch provide more bite in snow and icy conditions. Our warm weather outdoor tests showed good wet cornering and very good dry cornering, as well as excellent resistance to hydroplaning in standing water. How much punishment you dole out on them is totally up to you and your steed on which the KO2’s are shorn.

Kal's Test Results

"Nice and responsive, feels solid under you. Holds well in corners, easy to drive on both gravel and pavement."

?Summer vs Winter Tests

BRAKING

We varied our approach speeds by driving surface and by season for two reasons. First, this represents how most Canadians would normally drive on that surface in each season. Second, testing in both seasons provides an indication of how a tire's performance will be affected by road temperature.

CORNERING

To understand how road surface temperatures affect the cornering performance of a tire, our cornering tests are completed in both summer conditions (dry and wet pavement, and gravel roads) and winter conditions (dry, wet and icy pavement). Please note that slush is also tested but completed in a specific slush cornering test..

?Independent & Objective Testing

The independent tire testers conducted extensive tests to determine how the tires in our core line-up perform in a range of conditions in both summer and winter. To maintain neutrality, no driver knew the specifics of the tires they were testing each time. All results were analyzed and processed by the testing group and then provided to Kal Tire for sharing with our customers.

Kal Tire Sevice
5
1 day ago by SCOTT BAIN.

I originally had a set installed and they felt a little washy. Kal Tire acknowledged that this was a possible issue with that tire and replaced them for me not hassle. I am liking the tires now on the vehicle. there is some rubbing when turning so I hope this doesn't lead to any issues with the tires or vehicle down the road. According to those I have talked too there shouldn't be?
