I purchased tires for my jeep in Kelowna. Service was good. I requested quote on new tires for my Son's car in Victoria ( he is attending UofVic) Service agent in Kelowna provided me an agreed upon product and price and it would be in system in Victoria. When Garrick went into Victoria store he was told they would not honour the quote but could offer a tire of comparable quality for a price that would be close. Garrick called me back and informed me of this so I went back to your Kelowna store agent who agreed with me that this was not right and he would look into it. Garrick went back once again where he had to put a deposit down for a different tire which I was furious about as I was quoted a price for a specific product. As they didn't have his number the Victoria agent called my cell so he could call Garrick to make appointment when tires arrive. 3 weeks later when I was in Victoria I went into store to ask why they still had not contacted him. Agent told me they had attempted several times with no luck. If that was the case why would agent not call me as he did the first time to get Garrick s cell number ( again ) As this had gone way too long and as I was only in Victoria that day I had limited time to get this looked after. I was shown a tire you did have in stock and that you could install that day which is what was done.
To summarize all of this 1. How can an operation of your size provide a customer with a written quote yet a be told by another store they would not honour that quote ?
2. Why would agent say he could not reach Garrick when in fact he had my number on quote which is how he contacted me the first time.

I have been a customer of yours for many years on numerous vehicles, not to mention my employees that have used your outlets on my personal recommendations. I find this experience to be very unacceptable and it really needs to be addressed at another level.

We are very sorry to hear that you and Garrick had such a poor experience. There was obviously a number of short comings on our part and we apologize. We've been notified that the regional Zone Manager has been in contact with to speak about what happened and where the disconnects occurred. We hope that we can do better for you and Garrick in the future.
