Initial Inspection

First, your casings are thoroughly inspected to ensure they meet our high retreading standards. Kal Tire's certified Bandag inspectors look for every cut, bruise and puncture, as well as other damage to the tire body. Key to this stage are the "hands-on" and "touch" elements of inspection: each tire is felt for bumps and flaws and checked for discolouration.

It is important to note that at any stage in the retreading process, each Kal Tire professional working at one of the following stages has the authority, for whatever reason, to stop the retreading process of a particular tire and send it back to be to be further inspected or declared Not Worth Repairing. In essence, this makes each one of our technicians a quality control inspector, thus assuring you of the best quality product possible.
